Sunan an-Nasa'i, 2816

It was narrated from Abu Qatadah that:he was with Messenger of Allah. When they were partway to Makkah, he lagged behind with some companions of his whowere in Ihram, but he was not in Ihram. He saw an onager, so he mounted his horse, then he asked his companions to hand him his whip, but they refused. He asked them to hand him his spear, but they refused. He took it, then chased the onager and killed it. Some of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah ate from it but others refused. The caught up with the Messenger of Allah and asked him about that, and he said: "That is food that Allah, the Might and Sublime, gave to you

Rapporté par Abu Qatadah رضي الله عنه : Il était avec le Messager d’Allah ﷺ. En chemin vers La Mecque, il s’est retrouvé en arrière avec certains de ses compagnons qui étaient en Ihram, mais lui ne l’était pas. Il a vu un onagre, il est monté à cheval et a demandé à ses compagnons de lui passer son fouet, mais ils ont refusé. Il leur a demandé sa lance, mais ils ont refusé aussi. Il l’a prise, a poursuivi l’onagre et l’a tué. Certains compagnons du Messager d’Allah ﷺ en ont mangé, d’autres ont refusé. Ils ont rejoint le Messager d’Allah ﷺ et l’ont interrogé à ce sujet, et il a dit : "C’est une nourriture qu’Allah, le Puissant et Majestueux, vous a donnée
