Sunan an-Nasa'i, 2704

It was narrated from Ibrahim bin Al-Muntashir that his father said:"I asked Ibn 'Umar about wearing perfume when entering Ihram and he said: 'If I were to be daubed with tar that would be dearer to me than that, I mentioned that to 'Aishah and she said: 'May Allah have mercy on Abu 'Abdur-Rahman. I used to put perfume on the Messenger of Allah then he would go around his wives, then in the morning he would be smelling strongly of perfume

Rapporté par Ibrahim bin Al-Muntashir : Mon père a dit : "J'ai demandé à Ibn 'Umar s'il était permis de se parfumer en entrant en état d'Ihram. Il a répondu : 'Je préférerais être enduit de goudron plutôt que de me parfumer.' J'ai rapporté cela à 'Aishah et elle a dit : 'Qu'Allah fasse miséricorde à Abou 'Abdur-Rahman. Je mettais du parfum sur le Messager d'Allah, puis il faisait le tour de ses épouses, et le matin il sentait encore fortement le parfum
