Sunan an-Nasa'i, 2665

It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Abbas and Al-Miswar bin Makhramah that:they had a difference of opinion in al-Abwa. Ibn 'Abbas said: "The Muhrim (Pilgrim in Ihram) may wash his head." Al-Miswar said: "He should not wash his head."Ibn 'Abbas sent me (the narrator) to Abu Ayyub Al-Ansari to ask him about that. I found him performing Ghusl in front of the well, screened with a cloth. I greeted him with Salam and said: "Abdullah bin 'Abbas has sent me to you to ask you how the Messenger of Allah used to wash his head when he was in Ihram." Abu put his hand on the cloth and lowered it, until his head appeared, then he told someone to puor water on his head. Then he rubbed his head with his hands, back and forth, and said: "This is what I saw the Messenger of Allah do

Rapporté par 'Abdullah bin 'Abbas et Al-Miswar bin Makhramah : Ils ont eu une divergence d'opinion à Al-Abwa. Ibn 'Abbas a dit : "Le pèlerin en état d'Ihram peut se laver la tête." Al-Miswar a dit : "Il ne doit pas se laver la tête." Ibn 'Abbas m'a envoyé (le narrateur) vers Abu Ayyub Al-Ansari pour lui demander comment le Messager d'Allah ﷺ se lavait la tête lorsqu'il était en Ihram. Je l'ai trouvé en train de faire le Ghusl devant le puits, caché par un tissu. Je l'ai salué et j'ai dit : "Abdullah bin 'Abbas m'a envoyé te demander comment le Messager d'Allah ﷺ se lavait la tête en état d'Ihram." Abu Ayyub a mis sa main sur le tissu et l'a abaissé jusqu'à ce que sa tête apparaisse, puis il a demandé à quelqu'un de verser de l'eau sur sa tête. Ensuite, il a frotté sa tête avec ses mains, d'avant en arrière, et a dit : "C'est ainsi que j'ai vu le Messager d'Allah ﷺ faire
