Sunan an-Nasa'i, 2633

Ibn 'Abbas said:"The wife of sinan bin Salamah Al-Juhani ordered that the question be put to the Messenger of Allah about her mother who had died and had not performed Hajj; would it be good enough if she were to perform Hajj on behalf of her mother? He said: 'Yes. If her mother owed a debt and she paid it off, would that not be good enough? Let her perform Hajj on behalf of her mother

Rapporté par Ibn 'Abbas رضي الله عنهما : L'épouse de Sinan bin Salamah Al-Juhani a demandé qu'on interroge le Messager d'Allah ﷺ au sujet de sa mère décédée sans avoir accompli le Hajj ; serait-il valable qu'elle fasse le Hajj pour sa mère ? Il a répondu : « Oui. Si sa mère avait une dette et qu'elle la payait, cela ne serait-il pas suffisant ? Qu'elle fasse donc le Hajj pour sa mère. »
