Sunan an-Nasa'i, 2388

It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin 'Amr said:"The Messenger of Allah said: "The best of fasting is the fast of Dawud, peace be upon him. He used to fast for one day and break his fast for one day."' Rapporté par 'Abdullah bin 'Amr : Le Messager d'Allah ﷺ a dit : "Le meilleur des jeûnes est celui de Dawud, paix sur lui. Il jeûnait un jour et rompait son jeûne le jour suivant." 'Ata a ajouté : "Quelqu'un qui l'a entendu m'a dit qu'Ibn 'Umar a rapporté que le Prophète ﷺ a dit : Celui qui jeûne tous les jours de sa vie, alors il n'a pas vraiment jeûné
