Sunan an-Nasa'i, 2183

It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin Shaqiq said:""I asked 'Aishah about the fasting of the Messenger of Allah. She said: 'The Messenger of Allah used to fast until we said that he is going to fast (continually), and he used not to fast until we said: he is not going to fast. And he did not fast for a whole month from the time he came to Al-Madinah, apart from Ramadan

Rapporté par ‘Abdullah ibn Chaqiq : J’ai demandé à Aïcha رضي الله عنها au sujet du jeûne du Messager d’Allah ﷺ. Elle a dit : « Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ jeûnait au point qu’on pensait qu’il allait continuer à jeûner, puis il arrêtait au point qu’on pensait qu’il n’allait plus jeûner. Et il n’a pas jeûné un mois entier depuis son arrivée à Médine, sauf le Ramadan. »
