Sunan an-Nasa'i, 2158

It was narrated that Abu 'Atiyyah said:"I said to 'Aishah: 'Among us there are two of the Companions of the Prophet, one of whom hastens Iftar and delays Sahur, and the other delays Iftar and hastens Sahur.' She said: 'Which of them is the one who hastens Ifar and delays Sahur?' I said: "Abdullah bin Masud.' She said: 'That is what the Messenger of Allah used to do

Rapporté par Abu ‘Atiyyah : J’ai dit à ‘Aishah رضي الله عنها : "Parmi nous, il y a deux compagnons du Prophète ﷺ : l’un se dépêche de rompre le jeûne et retarde le sahur, et l’autre retarde la rupture du jeûne et se dépêche pour le sahur." Elle a demandé : "Lequel se dépêche de rompre le jeûne et retarde le sahur ?" J’ai répondu : "Abdullah bin Mas‘ud." Elle a dit : "C’est ce que faisait le Messager d’Allah ﷺ
