Sunan an-Nasa'i, 208

It was narrated from Umm Salamah that a woman suffered constant bleeding at the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), so Umm Salamah consulted the Prophet (ﷺ) for her. He said:"Let her count the number of nights and says that she used to menstruate each month before this happened to her, and let her stop praying for that amount of time each month. Then when that is over let her perform Ghusl, then let her use a pad, and pray

Rapporté par Umm Salamah : Une femme avait des saignements constants à l’époque du Messager d’Allah (ﷺ), alors Umm Salamah a consulté le Prophète (ﷺ) pour elle. Il a dit : « Qu’elle compte le nombre de nuits et de jours où elle avait ses règles chaque mois avant que cela ne lui arrive, et qu’elle arrête de prier pendant ce temps chaque mois. Ensuite, quand ce temps est passé, qu’elle fasse le Ghusl, qu’elle utilise une protection, et qu’elle prie. »
