Sunan an-Nasa'i, 2022

It was narrated from Yazid bin Thabit that:they went out with the Messenger of Allah one day and he saw a new grave. He said: "What is this?" They said: "This is so-and-so, the freed slave woman of Banu so-and-so" - whom Messenger of Allah knew - "She died at midday and we did not like to wake you up when you were fasting and taking a nap." The Messenger of Allah stood (for prayer) and the people formed rows behind him. He said four Takbirs over her then he said: "If anyone among you dies while I am still among you, inform me, for my prayer for his is a mercy

Rapporté par Yazid bin Thabit : Ils sont sortis un jour avec le Messager d'Allah et il a vu une nouvelle tombe. Il a demandé : "Qu'est-ce que c'est ?" Ils ont répondu : "C'est untel, l'esclave affranchie des Banu untel" - que le Messager d'Allah connaissait - "Elle est morte à midi et nous n'avons pas voulu te réveiller alors que tu jeûnais et faisais la sieste." Le Messager d'Allah s'est levé (pour prier) et les gens se sont alignés derrière lui. Il a prononcé quatre Takbirs sur elle puis il a dit : "Si l'un de vous meurt pendant que je suis encore parmi vous, informez-moi, car ma prière pour lui est une miséricorde
