Sunan an-Nasa'i, 1933

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:"A funeral passed by the Prophet and they praised (the deceased). The Prophet said: 'It is granted.' Then another funeral passed by and they criticized (the deceased). The Prophet said: 'It is granted.' They said: 'O Messenger of Allah, you said in both cases, 'It is granted?' The Prophet said: 'The angels are the witnesses of Allah in heaven, and you are the witnesses of Allah on Earth

Rapporté par Abu Hurairah : "Un cortège funèbre est passé devant le Prophète ﷺ et ils ont loué le défunt. Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : 'C’est accordé.' Puis un autre cortège funèbre est passé et ils ont critiqué le défunt. Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : 'C’est accordé.' Ils ont dit : 'Ô Messager d’Allah, tu as dit dans les deux cas : "C’est accordé" ?' Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : 'Les anges sont les témoins d’Allah au ciel, et vous êtes les témoins d’Allah sur Terre
