Sunan an-Nasa'i, 1705

Husain narrated from Habib bin Abi Thabit, from Muhammad bin 'Ali bin 'Abdullah bin Abbas, from his father, that his grandfather said:"I was with the Prophet (ﷺ) and he got up and performed wudu, cleaned his teeth while reciting this verse until he finished: 'Verily, in the creation of the heavens and the Earth, and in the alternation of night and day, there are indeed signs for men of understanding.' Then he prayed two rak'ahs, then he went back and slept until I heard him breathing deeply. Then he got up and performed wudu and cleaned his teeth. Then he prayed two rak'ahs, then he slept, then he got up and performed wudu and cleaned his teeth and prayed two rak'ahs and prayed witr with three rak'ahs

Rapporté par Husain : Habib bin Abi Thabit rapporte de Muhammad bin 'Ali bin 'Abdullah bin Abbas, de son père, que son grand-père a dit : "J'étais avec le Prophète (ﷺ) et il s'est levé, a fait ses ablutions, s'est brossé les dents tout en récitant ce verset jusqu'à la fin : 'En vérité, dans la création des cieux et de la terre, et dans l'alternance de la nuit et du jour, il y a des signes pour les gens doués d'intelligence.' Puis il a prié deux rak'ahs, puis il est retourné dormir jusqu'à ce que je l'entende respirer profondément. Ensuite, il s'est levé, a fait ses ablutions et s'est brossé les dents. Puis il a prié deux rak'ahs, puis il a dormi, puis il s'est levé, a fait ses ablutions, s'est brossé les dents, a prié deux rak'ahs et a prié le witr en trois rak'ahs
