Sunan an-Nasa'i, 1226

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) led us in praying 'Asr, and he said the salam after two rak'ahs. Dhul-Yadain stood up and said: 'Has the prayer been shortened, O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) or did you forget?' The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Neither.' He said: 'One of them happened, O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).' The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) turned to the people and said: 'Is Dhul-Yadain speaking the truth?' They said: 'Yes.' So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) completed what was left of the prayer, then he prostrated twice when he was sitting after the taslim

Rapporté par Abu Hurairah : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) nous a dirigés dans la prière de l’‘Asr, et il a fait le salam après deux rak‘a. Dhul-Yadain s’est levé et a dit : "La prière a-t-elle été raccourcie, ô Messager d’Allah (ﷺ), ou as-tu oublié ?" Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a répondu : "Aucune des deux." Il a dit : "L’une des deux est arrivée, ô Messager d’Allah (ﷺ)." Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) s’est tourné vers les gens et a dit : "Dhul-Yadain dit-il la vérité ?" Ils ont répondu : "Oui." Alors le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a complété ce qui restait de la prière, puis il s’est prosterné deux fois alors qu’il était assis après le taslim
