Sahih Muslim, 830

Ibn Abbas, reported:The Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) came out of the privy after relieving himself, and food was brought to him and he took it, and did not touch water. In another narration transmitted by Sa'id b. al-Huwairith it is like this: It was said to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) You have not performed ablution. He said: I do not intend to say prayer that I should perform ablution

Rapporté par Ibn 'Abbas رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ est sorti des toilettes après s’être soulagé, on lui a apporté de la nourriture et il en a mangé sans toucher à l’eau. Dans une autre version rapportée par Sa’id ibn al-Huwairith رضي الله عنه, il est dit : On a dit au Messager d’Allah ﷺ : « Tu n’as pas fait les ablutions. » Il a répondu : « Je n’ai pas l’intention de prier pour devoir faire les ablutions. »
