Sahih Muslim, 7508

Abdullah b. Umar reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said:It was shown in a vision that I was rinsing my mouth with miswak and two persons began to contend with one another for getting that miswak. One was older than the other. I gave the miswak to the younger one amongst them, but it was said to me: (Let it be given) to the older one. So I gave it to the older one

Rapporté par Abdullah ibn Umar رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « J’ai vu en rêve que je me rinçais la bouche avec un siwak et deux personnes se sont disputées pour l’obtenir. L’une était plus âgée que l’autre. J’ai donné le siwak au plus jeune, mais on m’a dit : “Donne-le au plus âgé.” Alors je l’ai donné au plus âgé. »
