The Book of Tribulations and Portents of the Last Hour
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ السَّعْدِيُّ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، - وَاللَّفْظُ لاِبْنِ حُجْرٍ قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ أَخْبَرَنَا وَقَالَ ابْنُ حُجْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنْ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ، بْنِ حِرَاشٍ قَالَ اجْتَمَعَ حُذَيْفَةُ وَأَبُو مَسْعُودٍ فَقَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ " لأَنَا بِمَا مَعَ الدَّجَّالِ أَعْلَمُ مِنْهُ إِنَّ مَعَهُ نَهْرًا مِنْ مَاءٍ وَنَهْرًا مِنْ نَارٍ فَأَمَّا الَّذِي تَرَوْنَ أَنَّهُ نَارٌ مَاءٌ وَأَمَّا الَّذِي تَرَوْنَ أَنَّهُ مَاءٌ نَارٌ فَمَنْ أَدْرَكَ ذَلِكَ مِنْكُمْ فَأَرَادَ الْمَاءَ فَلْيَشْرَبْ مِنَ الَّذِي يَرَاهُ أَنَّهُ نَارٌ فَإِنَّهُ سَيَجِدُهُ مَاءً " . قَالَ أَبُو مَسْعُودٍ هَكَذَا سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ .
Hudhaifa and Ibn Mas'ud met together. Hudhaifa said:I know more than you as to what there would be along with the Dajjal. There would be along with him two canals (one flowing with water) and the other one (having) fire (within it), and what you would see as fire would be water and what you would see as water would be fire. So he who amongst you is able to see that and is desirous of water should drink out of that which he sees as fireRapporté par Hudhayfa et Ibn Mas’ud رضي الله عنهما : Hudhayfa a dit : « Je sais mieux que toi ce que le Dajjal aura avec lui. Il aura deux canaux : l’un rempli d’eau, l’autre de feu. Ce que vous verrez comme du feu sera de l’eau, et ce que vous verrez comme de l’eau sera du feu. Celui d’entre vous qui recherche de l’eau devra boire de ce qui lui paraît être du feu. »Grades given by scholars
