Sahih Muslim, 7349

Abu Sa'id Khudri reported:Ibn Sa'id said to me something for which I felt ashamed. He said: I can excuse others; but what has gone wrong with you, O Companions of Muhammad, that you take me as Dajjal? Has Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) not said that he would be a Jew whereas I am a Muslim and he also said that he would not have children, whereas I have children, and he also said: verily, Allah has prohibited him to enter Mecca whereas I have performed Pilgrimage, and he went on saying this that I was about to be impressed by his talk. He (however) said this also: I know where he (Dajjal) is and I know his father and mother, and it was said to him: Won't you feel pleased if you would be the same person? Thereupon he said: If this offer is made to me, I would not resent that

Rapporté par Abu Sa'id al-Khudri رضي الله عنه : Ibn Sayyad m’a dit quelque chose qui m’a mis mal à l’aise. Il a dit : « Je peux excuser les autres, mais pourquoi vous, compagnons de Muhammad, pensez-vous que je suis le Dajjal ? Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ n’a-t-il pas dit qu’il serait juif alors que je suis musulman ? Il a aussi dit qu’il n’aurait pas d’enfants, alors que j’ai des enfants, et il a dit : “Allah lui a interdit d’entrer à La Mecque”, alors que j’ai accompli le pèlerinage. » Il a continué à parler au point que j’ai failli être convaincu par ses paroles. Il a aussi dit : « Je sais où il (le Dajjal) est, je connais son père et sa mère. » On lui a alors demandé : « Ne serais-tu pas content d’être cette personne ? » Il a répondu : « Si on me proposait cela, je ne m’y opposerais pas. »
