Sahih Muslim, 6675

Abdullah reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said:A woman was tormented because of a cat which she had confined until it died and she had to get into Hell. She did not allow it either to eat or drink as it was confined, nor did she free it so that it might eat the vermin of the earth

Rapporté par Abdullah : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Une femme a été punie à cause d’un chat qu’elle avait enfermé jusqu’à ce qu’il meure, et elle est entrée en Enfer. Elle ne lui a ni donné à manger ni à boire pendant qu’il était enfermé, et elle ne l’a pas non plus libéré pour qu’il puisse manger les insectes de la terre. »
