وَحَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا صَخْرُ بْنُ جُوَيْرِيَةَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " أَرَانِي فِي الْمَنَامِ أَتَسَوَّكُ بِسِوَاكٍ فَجَذَبَنِي رَجُلاَنِ أَحَدُهُمَا أَكْبَرُ مِنَ الآخَرِ فَنَاوَلْتُ السِّوَاكَ الأَصْغَرَ مِنْهُمَا فَقِيلَ لِي كَبِّرْ . فَدَفَعْتُهُ إِلَى الأَكْبَرِ " .
Abdullah b. `Umar reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:I saw in a dream that I was using miswak and two persons contended to get it from me, one being older than the other one. I gave the miswak to the younger one. It was said to me to give that to the older one and I gave it to the older oneRapporté par Abdullah b. ‘Umar رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « J’ai vu en rêve que j’utilisais un siwak et deux personnes se disputaient pour l’avoir, l’un étant plus âgé que l’autre. J’ai donné le siwak au plus jeune, mais on m’a dit de le donner au plus âgé, alors je l’ai donné au plus âgé. »Grades given by scholars
