Sahih Muslim, 5677

Abdullah b. 'Amr. b. al-'As reported that some persons from Banu Hisham entered the house of Asma' daughter of 'Umais when Abu Bakr also entered (and she was at that time his wife). He (Abu Bakr) saw it and disapproved of it and he made a mention of that to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and said:I did not see but good only (in my wife). Thereupon Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: Verily Allah has made her immune from all this. Then Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) stood on the pulpit and said: After this day no man should enter the house of another person in his absence, but only when he is accompanied by one person or two persons

Rapporté par ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr ibn al-‘As رضي الله عنه : Des membres des Banû Hichâm sont entrés chez Asma’ bint ‘Umays رضي الله عنها alors qu’Abu Bakr رضي الله عنه est aussi entré (et elle était alors son épouse). Il vit cela, le désapprouva et en parla au Messager d’Allah ﷺ en disant : « Je n’ai rien vu de mal chez ma femme. » Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ répondit : « En vérité, Allah l’a préservée de tout cela. » Puis le Messager d’Allah ﷺ se leva sur le minbar et dit : « À partir de ce jour, qu’aucun homme n’entre dans la maison d’un autre en son absence, sauf s’il est accompagné d’une ou deux personnes. »
