Jabir b. Abdullah reported:When I was married. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) asked me if I had got carpets. I said: How can we have carpets? Thereupon he said: You will soon have. Jabir said: My wife had possessed a carpet, and I said to her to remove that away from me, but she would say: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) had said: You will soon have

Rapporté par Jabir ibn Abdullah : Lorsque je me suis marié, le Messager d’Allah ﷺ m’a demandé si j’avais des tapis. J’ai répondu : « Comment pourrions-nous avoir des tapis ? » Il a alors dit : « Vous en aurez bientôt. » Jabir a ajouté : « Ma femme avait un tapis, et je lui ai demandé de l’enlever, mais elle disait : “Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : Vous en aurez bientôt.” »
