Sahih Muslim, 5036

Khalid b. Walid reported that he visited Maimuna daughter of al-Harith with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and she was the sister of his mother. She presented to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) the flesh of a lizard which Umm Hufaid daughter of al-Harith had brought from Najd, and she had been married to a person belonging to Banu Ja'far. It was the habit of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) not to eat anything until he knew what that was. The rest of the hadith is the same but with this (addition):" Ibn al-Asamm narrated it from Maimuna and he was under her care

Rapporté par Khalid b. Walid رضي الله عنه : Il a rendu visite à Maymouna, fille d’al-Harith, avec le Messager d’Allah ﷺ, et elle était la sœur de sa mère. Elle a présenté au Messager d’Allah ﷺ de la viande de lézard qu’Umm Hufaid, fille d’al-Harith, avait apportée de Najd, et elle était mariée à un homme des Banu Ja'far. Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ avait l’habitude de ne rien manger sans savoir ce que c’était. Le reste du hadith est identique, avec cette précision : « Ibn al-Asamm l’a rapporté de Maymouna, et il était sous sa garde. »
