The Book of Hunting, Slaughter, and what may be Eaten
وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، عَنِ الْعَلاَءِ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، عَنْ أَبِي ثَعْلَبَةَ الْخُشَنِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم حَدِيثَهُ فِي الصَّيْدِ ثُمَّ قَالَ ابْنُ حَاتِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ وَأَبِي الزَّاهِرِيَّةِ عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي ثَعْلَبَةَ الْخُشَنِيِّ . بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ الْعَلاَءِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَذْكُرْ نُتُونَتَهُ وَقَالَ فِي الْكَلْبِ " كُلْهُ بَعْدَ ثَلاَثٍ إِلاَّ أَنْ يُنْتِنَ فَدَعْهُ " .
This hadith has been transmitted on the authority of Abu Tha'laba al- Khushani with a slight variation of (words):He (the Holy Prophet) said in regard to the game killed by (a trained) dog: Eat after three days provided it has not gone rottenRapporté par Abu Tha’laba al-Khushani رضي الله عنه : Ce hadith a été transmis par Abu Tha’laba al-Khushani avec une légère différence dans les mots : Le Prophète ﷺ a dit à propos du gibier tué par un chien dressé : « Mange-le après trois jours, à condition qu’il ne soit pas gâté. »Grades given by scholars
