Sahih Muslim, 4048

Jabir b. 'Abdullah (Allah be pleased with them) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying in the Year of Victory while he was in Mecca:Verily Allah and His Messenger have forbidden the sale of wine, carcass, swine and idols, It was said: Allah's Messenger, you see that the fat of the carcass is used for coating the boats and varnishing the hides and people use it for lighting purposes, whereupon he said: No, it is forbidden, Then Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: May Allah the Exalted and Majestic destroy the Jews; when Allah forbade the use of fat of the carcass for them, they melted it, and then sold it and made use of its price (received from it)

Rapporté par Jabir b. ‘Abdullah رضي الله عنهما : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit, l’année de la Victoire alors qu’il était à La Mecque : « En vérité, Allah et Son Messager ont interdit la vente du vin, des cadavres d’animaux, du porc et des idoles. » On a dit : « Ô Messager d’Allah, la graisse des cadavres est utilisée pour enduire les bateaux, graisser les peaux et les gens s’en servent pour l’éclairage. » Il a répondu : « Non, c’est interdit. » Puis le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Qu’Allah, le Très-Haut et Majestueux, détruise les Juifs ; quand Allah leur a interdit la graisse des cadavres, ils l’ont fondue, l’ont vendue et ont profité de son prix. »
