Sahih Muslim, 3136

Abd al-Rahman b. Yazid reported:It was said to 'Abdullah (Allah be pleased with bird) that people threw pebbles at the Jamra from the upper side of 'Aqaba, whereas he threw stones at it from the heart of the valley, whereupon he said: By Him besides Whom there is no god, it is at this very place that one upon whom was revealed Surah al-Baqara threw stones at it

Rapporté par ‘Abd al-Rahman b. Yazid : On a dit à ‘Abdullah رضي الله عنه que les gens jetaient les cailloux à la Jamra depuis le haut de ‘Aqaba, alors que lui les jetait depuis le centre de la vallée. Il a répondu : « Par Celui en dehors de qui il n’y a pas d’autre dieu, c’est à cet endroit précis que celui sur qui la sourate al-Baqara a été révélée a jeté les cailloux. »
