Abd al-Rahman b. Yazid and al-Aswad b. Yazid reported:We heard 'Abdullah b. Mas'ud saying to the gathering of people (at Muzdalifa) that he had heard Talbiya from him, upon whom Surah al-Baqara was revealed, at this very place. And so he ('Abdullah b. Mas'ud) pronounced Talbiya and we also pronounced it with him

Rapporté par ‘Abd al-Rahman b. Yazid et al-Aswad b. Yazid : Nous avons entendu ‘Abdullah b. Mas’ud dire à la foule rassemblée à Muzdalifa qu’il avait entendu la Talbiya de la part de celui sur qui la sourate al-Baqara a été révélée, à ce même endroit. Alors ‘Abdullah b. Mas’ud a prononcé la Talbiya, et nous l’avons fait avec lui
