A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that the Quraish (of the pre-Islamic days) and those who followed their religions practices stayed at Muzdalifa, and they named themselves as Hums, whereas all other Arabs stayed at 'Arafa. With the advent of Islam, Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, commanded His Apostle (ﷺ) to come to 'Arafat and stay there, and then hurry from there, and this is the significance of the words of Allah:" Then hasten on from where the people hasten onRapporté par ‘A’isha رضي الله عنها : Les Quraysh (avant l’Islam) et ceux qui suivaient leurs pratiques religieuses restaient à Muzdalifa, et ils se nommaient eux-mêmes les Hums, tandis que tous les autres Arabes restaient à ‘Arafa. Avec l’avènement de l’Islam, Allah, le Très-Haut et Glorieux, a ordonné à Son Messager ﷺ d’aller à ‘Arafat et d’y rester, puis de se hâter de là-bas, et c’est le sens des paroles d’Allah : « Hâtez-vous de là d’où les gens se hâtent. »Grades given by scholars
