Sahih Muslim, 2877

Ka'b b. 'Ujra (Allah be pleased with him) reported:The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came to me on the occasion of Hudaibiya and I was kindling fire under my cooking pot and lice were creeping on my face. Thereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: Do the vermins harm your head? I said: Yes. He said: Get your head shaved and (in lieu of it) observe fasts for three days or feed six needy persons, or offer sacrifice (of an animal). Ayyub said: I do not know with what (type of expiation) did he commence (the statement)

Rapporté par Ka‘b ibn ‘Ujra رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ est venu me voir à Hudaybiya alors que j’étais en train d’allumer un feu sous ma marmite et que des poux rampaient sur mon visage. Il m’a alors dit : « Les parasites te gênent-ils à la tête ? » J’ai répondu : « Oui. » Il a dit : « Rase-toi la tête et, en compensation, jeûne trois jours, ou nourris six personnes dans le besoin, ou offre un sacrifice (d’un animal). » Ayyub a dit : « Je ne sais pas par laquelle de ces expiations il a commencé. »
