Sahih Muslim, 2545

Samura b. Jundub reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:The Adhan of Bilal should not mislead you nor the whiteness (of the pillar) of dawn, for it is not the whiteness of the true dawn, but that of the false dawn which is vertical like a pillar and you can eat food till the streaks of whiteness spread like it

Rapporté par Samura ibn Jundub : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « L’appel à la prière de Bilal ne doit pas vous tromper, ni la blancheur (en forme de colonne) de l’aube, car ce n’est pas la blancheur de la vraie aube, mais celle de la fausse aube, qui est verticale comme une colonne. Vous pouvez manger jusqu’à ce que les stries de blancheur s’étendent. »
