Sahih Muslim, 2482

Rabi'a b. Harith b. 'Abd al-Muttalib and Abbas b. 'Abd al-Muttalib said to Abd al-Muttalib b. Rabi'a and Fadl b. Ibn Abbas:Go to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and the rest of the hadith is the same (but with this addition):" 'Ali spread his cloak and then lay down on it and said: I am the father of Hasan, and I am the chief. By Allah, I would not move from my place till your sons come back to you with the reply to that for which you sent them to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). And he then also said: Verily these sadaqat are the impurities of people, and they are not permissible for Muhammad (may peaace be upon him), and for the family of Muhammad. And he also said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) also said to me: Call Mahmiya b. Jaz', and he was person from Banu Asad. and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) had appointed him as a collector of khums

Rapporté par Rabi‘a b. Harith b. ‘Abd al-Muttalib et Abbas b. ‘Abd al-Muttalib : Ils ont dit à ‘Abd al-Muttalib b. Rabi‘a et Fadl b. Ibn Abbas : « Allez voir le Messager d’Allah ﷺ. » Le reste du hadith est similaire, avec ce détail : « ‘Ali a étendu son manteau, s’est allongé dessus et a dit : “Je suis le père de Hasan, et je suis le chef. Par Allah, je ne bougerai pas d’ici tant que vos fils ne reviendront pas avec la réponse du Messager d’Allah ﷺ.” » Il a aussi dit : « Ces sadaqat sont les impuretés des gens, elles ne sont pas permises à Muhammad ﷺ ni à sa famille. » Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ m’a aussi dit : « Appelle Mahmiya b. Jaz‘ », qui était un homme des Banu Asad, et le Prophète ﷺ l’avait nommé collecteur du khums
