Sahih Muslim, 2392

Abd al-Rahman b. Auf reported:I heard Mu'awiya b. Abu Sufyan saying in an address that he had heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying: He to whom Allah intends to do good, He gives him insight into religion. And I am only the distributor while Allah is the Bestower

Rapporté par Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf رضي الله عنه : J’ai entendu Mu’awiya ibn Abu Sufyan dire dans un discours qu’il avait entendu le Messager d’Allah ﷺ dire : « Celui à qui Allah veut du bien, Il lui donne la compréhension de la religion. Et moi, je ne fais que distribuer, tandis qu’Allah est Celui qui accorde. »
