Sahih Muslim, 2349

Adi b. Hatim reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) made a mention of Fire. He turned his face aside and diverted his attention and then said:Guard (yourselves) against Fire. He turned his face and diverted his attention till we thought as if he were (actually seeing it and then said: Protect yourselves against Fire even if it is with half a date, and he who does not find it, (he should do so) with pleasant words. Abu Kuraib did not mention the word: (as if)

Rapporté par ‘Adi b. Hatim رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a parlé du Feu. Il a détourné son visage et détourné son attention, puis il a dit : « Protégez-vous du Feu. » Il a détourné son visage et détourné son attention à tel point que nous avons cru qu’il le voyait réellement, puis il a dit : « Protégez-vous du Feu, même si ce n’est qu’avec la moitié d’une datte, et celui qui ne la trouve pas, qu’il le fasse avec de bonnes paroles. » (Abu Kuraib n’a pas mentionné l’expression : « comme s’il »)
