Sahih Muslim, 2316

Anas reported that when this verse was tevealed:" You will not attain righteousness till you give freely of what you love," Abu Talha said: I see that our Lord has demanded from us out of our property; so I make you a witness, Messenger of Allah. that I give my land known as Bairaha' for the sake of Allah. Upon this the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Give that to your relatives. So he gave it to Hassan b. Thabit and Ubayy b. Ka'b

Rapporté par Anas رضي الله عنه : Quand ce verset a été révélé : « Vous n’atteindrez la piété que lorsque vous donnerez de ce que vous aimez », Abu Talha a dit : « Je vois que notre Seigneur nous demande de donner de nos biens ; je prends à témoin le Messager d’Allah que je donne mon terrain appelé Bairaha’ pour Allah. » Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Donne-le à tes proches. » Il l’a donc donné à Hassan ibn Thabit et Ubayy ibn Ka’b
