Sahih Muslim, 2079

Anas b. Malik reported:The people were in the grip of famine during the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and (once) as the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was delivering the sermon standing on the pulpit on Friday, a bedouin stood up and said: Messenger of Allah, the animals died and the children suffered starvation. The rest of the hadith is the same (and the words are) that he (the Holy Prophet) said: O Allah, send down rain in our suburbs but not on us. He (the narrator) said: To whichever directions he pointed with his hands, the clouds broke up and I saw Medina like the opening of a (courtyard) and the stream of Qanat flowed for one month, and none came from any part (of Arabia) but with the news of heavy rainfall

Rapporté par Anas ibn Malik رضي الله عنه : Les gens souffraient de la famine du vivant du Messager d’Allah ﷺ. Un jour, alors que le Messager d’Allah ﷺ prononçait le sermon sur le minbar un vendredi, un bédouin se leva et dit : « Ô Messager d’Allah, les animaux sont morts et les enfants souffrent de la faim. » La suite du hadith est la même, avec ces mots : Il (le Prophète ﷺ) dit : « Ô Allah, fais pleuvoir dans nos environs mais pas sur nous. » Le narrateur dit : Dans toutes les directions où il pointait ses mains, les nuages se dispersaient, et j’ai vu Médine comme l’ouverture d’une cour, et le canal Qanat coula pendant un mois. Personne ne venait d’aucune région sans annoncer de fortes pluies
