Sahih Muslim, 2028

Nu'man b. Bashir reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to recite on two 'Ids and in Friday prayer:" Glorify The name of Thy Lord, the Most High" (Surah lxxxvii.), and:" Has there come to thee the news of the overwhelming event" (lxxxviii.). And when the 'Id and Jumu'a combined on a day he recited these two (surah) in both the prayers

Rapporté par Nu’man ibn Bashir رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ récitait lors des deux fêtes (‘Id) et à la prière du vendredi : « Glorifie le nom de ton Seigneur, le Très-Haut » (sourate 87) et « T’est-il parvenue la nouvelle de l’événement écrasant ? » (sourate 88). Et lorsque la fête et le vendredi tombaient le même jour, il récitait ces deux sourates dans les deux prières
