Sahih Muslim, 1947

Sahl b. Abu Hathma reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) led his Companions in prayer in danger. He made them stand in two rows behind him. He led them who were close to him in one rak'ah. He then stood up and kept standing till those who were behind them observed one rak'ah. Then they (those standing in the second row) came in front and those who were in front went into the rear. He then led them In one rak'ah. He then sat down, till those who were behind him observed one rak'ah and then pronounced salutation

Rapporté par Sahl b. Abu Hathma : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dirigé ses compagnons dans la prière en situation de danger. Il les a fait se placer en deux rangées derrière lui. Il a dirigé ceux qui étaient proches de lui dans une rak‘a. Puis il s’est levé et est resté debout pendant que ceux qui étaient derrière accomplissaient une rak‘a. Ensuite, ceux qui étaient à l’arrière sont venus devant et ceux qui étaient devant sont passés derrière. Il les a alors dirigés dans une rak‘a. Puis il s’est assis, pendant que ceux qui étaient derrière lui accomplissaient une rak‘a, puis il a prononcé la salutation
