Sahih Muslim, 1874

Abu Umama said he heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) say:Recite the Qur'an, for on the Day of Resurrection it will come as an intercessor for those who recite It. Recite the two bright ones, al-Baqara and Surah Al 'Imran, for on the Day of Resurrection they will come as two clouds or two shades, or two flocks of birds in ranks, pleading for those who recite them. Recite Surah al-Baqara, for to take recourse to it is a blessing and to give it up is a cause of grief, and the magicians cannot confront it. (Mu'awiya said: It has been conveyed to me that here Batala means magicians)

Rapporté par Abu Umama : J’ai entendu le Messager d’Allah ﷺ dire : « Récitez le Coran, car il viendra le Jour de la Résurrection comme intercesseur pour ceux qui le récitent. Récitez les deux lumineuses, al-Baqara et la sourate Al ‘Imran, car elles viendront le Jour de la Résurrection comme deux nuages, ou deux ombres, ou deux groupes d’oiseaux en rangs, plaidant pour ceux qui les récitent. Récitez la sourate al-Baqara, car s’y attacher est une bénédiction, l’abandonner est une perte, et les magiciens ne peuvent rien contre elle. » (Mu’awiya a dit : On m’a rapporté qu’ici « Batala » signifie les magiciens)
