Sahih Muslim, 1188

Jundub reported:I heard from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) five days before his death and he said: I stand acquitted before Allah that I took any one of you as friend, for Allah has taken me as His friend, as he took Ibrahim as His friend. Had I taken any one of my Ummah as a friend, I would have taken Abu Bakr as a friend. Beware of those who preceded you and used to take the graves of their prophets and righteous men as places of worship, but you must not take graves as mosques; I forbid you to do that

Rapporté par Jundub : J’ai entendu le Messager d’Allah ﷺ cinq jours avant sa mort, et il a dit : « Je me dégage devant Allah d’avoir pris l’un d’entre vous comme ami intime, car Allah m’a pris comme Son ami, tout comme Il a pris Ibrahim comme Son ami. Si j’avais dû prendre quelqu’un de ma communauté comme ami intime, j’aurais choisi Abu Bakr. Prenez garde à ceux qui vous ont précédés et qui prenaient les tombes de leurs prophètes et des gens pieux comme lieux de prière ; mais vous, ne prenez pas les tombes comme mosquées : je vous l’interdis. »
