Muwatta Malik, 321

Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard from Jabir ibn Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Let anyone who cannot find two garments pray in one garment and wrap himself in it, and if the garment is short, let him wrap it around his waist." Malik said, "In my view it is preferable for someone who prays in a single shirt to put a garment or a turban over his shoulders

Jaber Ibn Abdallah a rapporté que l'Envoyé d'Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) r (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) a dit: «celui qui ne trouve pas deux vêtements pour faire la prière, qu'il porte un seul en s'y enveloppant. Si ce vêtement est court, qu'il le mette autour de sa taille comme un izar». Malek a dit: «il m'est préféré, que l'homme qui porte une seule tunique pour prier, mette sur ses épaules un autre vêtement ou un autre turban».
