Muwatta Malik, 1744

Yahya related to me from Malik from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih from his father from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "If Allah loves a slave, he says to Jibril, 'I love so-and-so, so love him,' so Jibril loves him and then calls out to the people of heaven, 'Allah loves so-and-so, so love him,' and the people of heaven love him, and then acceptance is placed in the Earth for him." Abou Houraira a rapporté que l'Envoyé d'Allah r (salallahou alayhi wa salam) (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) a dit: «si le Bon Allah aime un serviteur, II dira à Gabriel: «j'aime tel, ainsi aime-le», et Gabriel l'aimera en appelant ceux qui sont aux cieux, leur disant: «Allah aime tel, donc aimez-le»; alors ceux qui sont aux cieux l'aimeront, et on lui imposera son affection sur la terre. Par contre si le Bon Allah hait un serviteur, Malek a dit: «Je ne crois pas qu'il eût autrement dit au sujet de la haine»
