Muwatta Malik, 1680

Yahya related to me from Malik from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih from his father from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, gave hospitality to a kafir guest. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, ordered a sheep to be brought for him and it was milked. He drank its milk. Then another came, and he drank it. Then another came and he drank it until he had drunk the milk of seven sheep. In the morning he became muslim, and the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, ordered a sheep for him. It was milked and he drank its milk. Then he ordered another for him and he could not finish it. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "The mumin drinks in one intestine, and the kafir drinks in seven intestines

Abou Houraira a rapporté ce qui suit: «l'Envoyé d'Allah r (salallahou alayhi wa salam) (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) a accueilli avec hospitalité un homme incrédule. Il ordonna qu'on lui apporte du lait d'une brebis, et de le lui donner pour boire, puis le lui ordonne une deuxième fois, puis encore une fois jusqu'à ce que l'incrédule ait bu le lait de sept brebis, qu'à la fin, au matin, il s'est converti à l'Islam. Alors, l'Envoyé d'Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) ordonna de lui apporter une brebis, qu'on a trait, et dont l'homme bu le lait; puis il lui ordonna une autre, mais l'homme n'a pas pu boire le lait de la brebis. Ainsi, l'Envoyé d'Allah r (salallahou alayhi wa salam) (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) dit: «le croyant boit de par un seul intestin, mais l'incrédule de par sept».
