Muwatta Malik, 1418

Yahya related to me from Malik from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih as- Samman from his father from Abu Hurayra that Sad ibn Ubada said to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, "What do you think if I find a man with my wife? Shall I grant him a respite until I bring four witnesses?" The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, replied, "Yes

Abou Houraira a rapporté que Sa'd Ibn Oubada, retrouvant l'Envoyé d'Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) r (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) lui dit: «Que penses-tu, si je trouve un homme avec ma femme; dois-je le laisser afin que je puisse appeler quatre témoins»? L'Envoyé d'Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) lui répondit: «oui»
