Sunan Ibn Majah, 868

It was narrated from Abu Zubair that Jabir bin ‘Abdullah would raise his hands when he began the prayer, and when he bowed, and when he raised (his head) from Ruku’ he would do likewise, and he said:“I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) doing that.” (One of the narrators) said: “Ibrahim bin Tahman (one of the narrators) raised his hands to his ears.”

Rapporté par Abu Zubair : Jabir bin ‘Abdullah levait les mains au début de la prière, quand il s’inclinait, et quand il relevait la tête du Ruku’, il faisait de même, et il disait : “J’ai vu le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) faire cela.” (Un des rapporteurs) a dit : “Ibrahim bin Tahman (un des rapporteurs) levait les mains jusqu’aux oreilles.”
