حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي امْرَأَةٌ أَشُدُّ ضَفْرَ رَأْسِي أَفَأَنْقُضُهُ لِغُسْلِ الْجَنَابَةِ فَقَالَ " إِنَّمَا يَكْفِيكِ أَنْ تَحْثِي عَلَيْهِ ثَلاَثَ حَثَيَاتٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ ثُمَّ تُفِيضِي عَلَيْكِ مِنَ الْمَاءِ فَتَطْهُرِينَ " . أَوْ قَالَ " فَإِذَا أَنْتِ قَدْ طَهُرْتِ " .
It was narrated that Umm Salamah said:"I said, O Messenger of Allah! I am a woman with tight braids. Should I undo them when I take a bath to cleanse myself from the state of sexual impurity?" He said: "Rather it is sufficient for you to pour three handfuls of water over yourself, and you will be purified," or he said: "In that case you would have become purifiedRapporté par Umm Salamah : J’ai dit : « Ô Messager d’Allah ! J’ai les cheveux très tressés. Dois-je les défaire quand je prends un bain pour me purifier d’un état d’impureté ? » Il a dit : « Il te suffit de verser trois poignées d’eau sur ta tête, et tu seras purifiée », ou il a dit : « Dans ce cas, tu serais purifiée. »Grades given by scholars
