حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَيَّةَ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ عَلِيًّا تَوَضَّأَ فَغَسَلَ قَدَمَيْهِ إِلَى الْكَعْبَيْنِ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَرَدْتُ أَنْ أُرِيَكُمْ طُهُورَ نَبِيِّكُمْ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏.‏

It was narrated that Abu Haiyah said:"I saw 'Ali performing ablution and he washed his feet up to the ankles, then he said: 'I wanted to show you how your Prophet purified himself

Rapporté par Abu Haiyah : J'ai vu 'Ali faire ses ablutions et il s'est lavé les pieds jusqu'aux chevilles, puis il a dit : « Je voulais vous montrer comment votre Prophète ﷺ se purifiait. »
