It was narrated that Abu ‘Umar, the freed slave of Asma’, said:“I saw Ibn ‘Umar buying a turban that had some markings, then he called for a pair of scissors and cut that off. I entered upon Asma’ and mentioned that to her, and she said: ‘May ‘Abdullah perish, O girl! Give me the garment of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).’ A garment was brought that was hemmed with brocade on the sleeves, necklines and openings (at the front and back).”Rapporté par Abu ‘Umar, l’affranchi d’Asma’ : J’ai vu Ibn ‘Umar acheter un turban avec des motifs, puis il a demandé des ciseaux et les a coupés.
