Sunan Ibn Majah, 3089

It was narrated from Abu Sa’eed that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:‘The one in Ihram may kill the snake, the scorpion, the aggressive predator, the vicious dog and the harmful mouse.” It was said to him: “Why is it said that they are harmful?” He said:* “Because the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) woke up because of one, and it had taken the wick (of the lamp) to burn down the house.”

Rapporté par Abu Sa’eed : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : “Celui qui est en état d’Ihram peut tuer le serpent, le scorpion, le prédateur agressif, le chien dangereux et la souris nuisible.” On lui a demandé : “Pourquoi dit-on qu’ils sont nuisibles ?” Il a répondu : “Parce que le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) s’est réveillé à cause d’une souris, et elle avait pris la mèche (de la lampe) pour brûler la maison.”
