Sunan Ibn Majah, 2903

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) heard a man saying:“Labbaik ‘an Shubrumah (Here I am (O Allah) on behalf of Shubrumah.” The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Who is Shubrumah?” He said: “A relative of mine.” He said: “Have you ever performed Hajj?” He said: “No.” He said: “Then make this for yourself, then perform Hajj on behalf of Shubrumah.”

Rapporté par Ibn ‘Abbas : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a entendu un homme dire : “Labbaik ‘an Shubrumah (Me voici, ô Allah, pour Shubrumah).” Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : “Qui est Shubrumah ?” Il a répondu : “Un parent à moi.” Il a dit : “As-tu déjà fait le Hajj ?” Il a répondu : “Non.” Il a dit : “Alors fais-le d’abord pour toi, puis fais le Hajj pour Shubrumah.”
