Sunan Ibn Majah, 2119

It was narrated that Suwaid bin Hanzalah said:"We went out looking for the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and Wa'il bin Hujr was with us. An enemy of his seized him and the people were reluctant to swear an oath but I swore that he was my brother, so they set him free. We came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and I told him that the people had been reluctant to swear an oath, but I had sworn that he was my brother. He said: 'You told the truth. The Muslim is the brother of his fellow Muslim

Rapporté par Suwaid bin Hanzalah : "Nous sommes partis à la recherche du Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) et Wa'il bin Hujr était avec nous. Un de ses ennemis l’a capturé et les gens hésitaient à jurer, mais j’ai juré qu’il était mon frère, alors ils l’ont relâché. Nous sommes allés voir le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) et je lui ai expliqué que les gens avaient hésité à jurer, mais que j’avais juré qu’il était mon frère. Il a dit : « Tu as dit la vérité. Le musulman est le frère de son frère musulman. »
