Sunan Ibn Majah, 1866

It was narrated that:Mughirah bin Shubah said: “I came to the Prophet and told him of a woman to whom I had to propose marriage. He said: 'Go and look at her, for that is more likely to create love between you.' So I went to a woman among the Ansar and proposed marriage through her parents. I told them what the Prophet had said, and it was as if they did not like that. Then I heard that woman, behind her curtain, say: 'If the Messenger of Allah has told you to do that, then do it, otherwise I adjure you by Allah (not to do so)'. And it was as if she regarded that as a serious matter. So I looked at her and married her.” And he mentioned how well he got along with her

Rapporté par Mughirah bin Shubah : Je suis allé voir le Prophète ﷺ et je lui ai parlé d’une femme que je voulais demander en mariage. Il m’a dit : « Va la voir, cela favorisera l’entente entre vous. » Je suis donc allé voir une femme parmi les Ansar et j’ai demandé sa main à ses parents. Je leur ai expliqué ce que le Prophète ﷺ avait dit, et ils semblaient ne pas apprécier cela. J’ai alors entendu la femme, derrière son rideau, dire : « Si le Messager d’Allah t’a dit de faire cela, alors fais-le, sinon, je t’en prie au nom d’Allah, ne le fais pas. » Elle semblait prendre cela très au sérieux. Je l’ai donc regardée et je l’ai épousée, et il a parlé de leur bonne entente
