حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحْرِزُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ الْعَدَنِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، جَمِيعًا عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ، عَنْ جُمْهَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏"‏ لِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ زَكَاةٌ وَزَكَاةُ الْجَسَدِ الصَّوْمُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ زَادَ مُحْرِزٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏"‏ الصِّيَامُ نِصْفُ الصَّبْرِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:“For everything there is Zakat and the Zakat of the body is fasting.” (A narrator in one of the chains) Muhriz added in his narration: "And the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Fasting is half of patience

Rapporté par Abu Hurairah : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Pour chaque chose il y a une Zakat, et la Zakat du corps c’est le jeûne. » (Un narrateur dans une des chaînes) Muhriz a ajouté dans son récit : « Et le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : ‘Le jeûne est la moitié de la patience.’ »
